We based ourselves in Sorrento and explored Capri, Positano, Ravello, Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi, and the surrounding countryside while sampling world famous pizza, handmade mozzarella, limoncello, and local wines.

Instead of changing hotels every night, we used Sorrento as our base.

Day 2 – Amalfi Coast Food Tour
One of the highlights of our trip was a guided drive along the Amalfi Coast.
Stops included:

• Limoncello tasting

This was one of the best ways to experience the region without worrying about driving the narrow coastal roads.

Day 3 – Path of the Gods & Positano
We started early with transportation to Bomerano before hiking the famous Path of the Gods.

Mozzarella
Fresh buffalo mozzarella in Campania is unlike what most visitors have experienced at home. Served only hours after production, it has a delicate outer skin and a creamy interior that practically melts. Pair it with local tomatoes, olive oil, and fresh basil, and it becomes one of the simplest yet most memorable meals of the trip.

Olive Oil
One of our favorite  experiences was sampling regional olive oils produced around Sorrento. Unlike many supermarket oils, these were peppery, grassy, and incredibly fresh. Several producers also infused oils with lemon, basil, and chili, making them easy souvenirs to bring home.

​Trattoria dei Mori was one of our favorite dinners in Sorrento. Tucked along a quieter side street away from the busiest tourist crowds, it serves classic southern Italian dishes with fresh seafood, homemade pasta, and generous portions. We started with an outstanding seafood antipasto loaded with mussels, clams, calamari, and octopus before moving on to house-made pasta paired with a refreshing Aperol Spritz. The relaxed outdoor setting and friendly service made it one of our most memorable meals in Sorrento.
